Our mission at UrbanHighTech.com is to develop small high technology centers in under served urban centers or other areas where technology may be used in new ways or introduced to a new population. 

These High Technology Centers will provide training, education, office space and equipment to new and existing High Technology Businesses.

Often, opportunities are awarded to the "top 1 or 2%" of students or to only a limited number of students for a short period due to lack of funding, equipment, space and teachers.

We wonder  if we may develop small educational programs that will enable more children (and interested adults) the opportunity to explore their imagination and become exposed to a broad range of technologies. 

How we go about this depends on how we design a program, raise funds and find the mentors and corporate sponsors to assist in developing such programs.

As of now, this is NOT a non-profit company. We will use this site to offer electronics and other products for sale via our affiliate partners.

Interested educators, developers and sponsors, please contact us. We are targeting our first effort in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Again, until we raise the funding and develop a model, this is just a concept.
